Strange City Heroes mainly focuses on The Golden Cape and Stickboy Jr. and their quest to become “Super Duper Heroes.” Along the way they meet great friends and try to build a Super Team. Strange City Heroes is an ongoing humorous and silly super hero webcomic that has a simple golden age/silver age feel with a modern age approach to pop culture and art.

Issue #1: A Lone Zombie
In the first episode of Strange City Heroes you will meet The Golden Cape, Stickboy Jr., the first Zombie and a cameo by Kittie Kitty. The Golden Cape and Stickboy Jr. are at this point trying to become real super duper heroes and looking for something they can do. They come across a Zombie that is terrorizing a local grocery store and a humorous battle ensues.
This issue marks the first appearance of The Golden Cape, Stickboy Jr., Zombies, Midge, Zombie Clean Up Crew, Strangedrawings ART GALLERY, Yummy Fun Foods Grocery Store, and Kittie Kitty (Cameo).
Issue #2: The Tail of Kittie Kitty
In the second episode of Strange City Heroes The Golden Cape and Stickboy Jr. meet Kittie Kitty. The Golden Cape falls immediately in love with her and we find out who is behind the mysterious zombie frome Issue #1. Kittie informs our heroes of an upcoming meeting of a few major bad guys that will help them to become real super duper heroes.
This issue marks the first appearance of Kittie Kitty and The Toxic Skull with appearances of The Golden Cape and Stickboy Jr.
Issue #3: The Origin Of The Golden Cape
Episode three of Strange City Heroes takes us back in time to when The Golden Cape was a child. Young Matthew reveals that he has super strength and when a rainstorm approaches he finds a mysterious cape at the entrance to his treehouse. Matty is struck by lightning and soon finds out that he can fly, the cape is alive and he has an energy blast from his hands. The Cape bonds with Matthew for the first time.
This issue marks the first appearance of The Golden Cape (as an entity), Matthew (The Golden Cape as a child), Mom, Dad, and The Treehouse.
Issue #4: Bring On The Baddies
In the fouth exciting episode of Strange City Heroes our heroes go to The Old Fishing Dock to stop what they think is two villians but before they know it they are faced with seven fearsome foes. Believing that Kittie Kitty set them up The Golden Cape and Stickboy Jr. decide being heroes means facing any adversity no matter what the circumstances. The battle ensues and our heroes look outmatched until our old friend Kittie Kitty shows up and helps aid our heroes in the fight. Kittie Kitty becomes an official member of the Strange City Heroes.
This issue marks the first appearance of Crazy Cactus, The Iron Hand, Kingfish Maloney, Shocktra, Grape, The Everlasting Stink, The Blood Cowl, and The Old Fishing Dock with appearances of The Toxic Skull (cameo), The Golden Cape, Stickboy Jr. and Kittie Kitty.
Issue #5: Rise Zombies Rise
Episode five brings The Toxic Skull into the picture as a major baddie as well as his power over The Zombie Horde. The Toxic Skull is bent on destroying humanity and claiming the throne of Atlantis as his own. Kittie shows up to the fight with a friend the speedster known as The Antelope and they decide on a plan to trap the zombies inside the cemetery. Stickboy Jr. is shot out of the air by The Toxic Skull with his Megastun 8000 shock gun but is save by The Antelope before he hits the ground. Things start to go bad and the Zombies surround our heroes. Stickboy Jr. reveals that he is half human and half Wood Ogre and the zombies can’t eat his wooden skin. A mysterious ball of fire aproaches from the sky and crashes into the cemetery with a giant sonic boom and explosion. When the smoke clears the Zombies and The Toxcic Skull are all gone and a strange flaming creature appears with the letters UFO on his chest.
This issue marks the first appearance of The Zombie Horde, The Antelope, Megastun 8000 Shock Gun, and U.F.O. with appearances of The Toxic Skull, The Golden Cape, Stickboy Jr. and Kittie Kitty.

Issue #6: Kraken
Episode six takes our heroes to Nervous Pumpkin Comics on Strange City Bay where the store is being attacked by the sea creature known as the Kraken. Stickboy Jr. and The Golden Cape are on the scene as they were out shopping for comic books when this begins. The Kraken takes a customer from the comic book store and eats him. A battle quickly ensues with the great beast. Across town Strangedrawings Art Gallery is being robbed of The Trident of Poseidon. Kitty Kitty and The Antelope soon join the fight against the Kraken. Kingfish Maloney turns out to be behind the Gallery robbery and uses the Trident to transform into the sea-god Poseidon. After the battle with the Kraken has come to a slightly disgusting halt Poseidon takes control of the monster and orders it to kidnap Kittie Kitty taking her under the sea.
This issue marks the first appearance of The Kraken, Fanboy 1 (Bat-Guy Fan), Fanboy 2 (The Spider Fan), Nervous Pumpkin Comics (Comic Shop), Strange City Bay, Henchman 1, Henchman 2, Beano’s Coffee Bean, The Trident of Poseidon and Poseidon with appearances of Kingfish Maloney (cameo), Strangedrawings Art Gallery, The Golden Cape, Stickboy Jr., The Antelope and Kittie Kitty.
Issue #7: U.F.O.
Episode seven of Strange City Heroes starts with The Golden Cape and Stickboy Jr. trying to track down the mysterious character only known as U.F.O. to find out if he is a friend or foe. The Toxic Skull makes his way back on the scene with revenge on his mind against U.F.O. for stopping his Zombie attack on Starange City. A battle insues with the Toxic Skull which is taken care of in short time when Stickboy Jr. uses his “Super-Stun Lazer Eye Ray” to knock out the Toxic Skull. Our heroes soon find out that U.F.O. seems to be friendly although they can not understand him. A flash scence of The Antelope in trouble and tied down is a precursor to Issue #9 and will be dealt with there. The story ends with U.F.O. bringing our heroes to a giant 50 foot Kittie Kitty.
This issue marks the first appearance of Poseidon with appearances of The Golden Cape, Stickboy Jr., The Toxic Skull, U.F.O., The Antelope (cameo) and Kittie Kitty (cameo).
Issue #8: Attack Of The 50 Foot Kittie
In Episode eight of Strange City Heroes Kittie Kitty has been turned into a 50 foot giant version of herself and has gained much more power but she is also under the control of Poseidon who intends to take her as his bride. Our heroes are forced to battle with Kittie and she has become quite nasty towards them. A little more is shown of the Antelope and his mysterious captor and the weird monster Choc-O-Lo. After a battle with Poseidon, Kittie is returned to her normal self but with a slight change in skin color . . . she is permanently changed to blue.
This issue marks the first appearance of Choc-O-Lo with appearances of The Golden Cape, Stickboy Jr., The Antelope, Kittie Kitty, U.F.O., Poseidon, and The Blood Cowl (cameo).

Issue #9: Like Father Like Son
Well in Episode nine it finally looks like Stickboy Jr. is finally going to get his way and have a Taco dinner when his beeper goes off and after a weird phone call the team is summoned away to Whacky Wally’s Toys and Comics to save the Antelope. When our heroes get to Whacky Wally’s they find that in the basement the Blood Cowl has the Antelope held hostage. The Blood Cowl (Stickboy Jr.’s father) reveals his true face and identity as the original Stickboy (a hero from the past not revealed in this story). After telling his plan to resurect the Wood Ogre race with the Orb of the Ancients to Stickboy Jr. and the team and failing to get Stickboy Jr. to join him a battle ensues. Stickboy Jr. blind’s the Blood Cowl with his lazer eye beems and the Orb of The Ancients falls into the oozing creature Choc-O-Lo who then is seemingly destroyed along with the Orb by Stickboy Jr. in an explosion. When the dust settles The Blood Cowl is gone. Did I mention that Turtle Lad made an appearence and somehow got out of the action?
This issue marks the first appearance of Mega-Taco Restaurant, Whacky Wally, Whacky Wally’s Toys and Comics, Orb of The Ancients, Turtle Lad with appearances of The Golden Cape, Stickboy Jr., The Antelope, Kittie Kitty, U.F.O., Choc-O-Lo and The Blood Cowl.
Issue #10: Gleebledeeploo
Episode ten is a little bit of silly fun with Ultimate Flame-O and the thing he has said since we met him Gleebledeeploo. U.F.O. leads the team to Zoomie’s Quick Shop where he searches the store for what he wants . . . no spoilers on this one you’ll have to read it. Oh and I think there is a kiss you might have been expecting to see.
This issue marks the first appearance of Zoomie, Zoomie’s Quick Shop, Unnamed Store Clerk (Peas Guy) with appearances of The Golden Cape, Stickboy Jr., Kittie Kitty, U.F.O.

Issue #11: The Black Skull
Strange City Heroes changes in Episode eleven with updates being full pages instead of strip format making the comic print ready and allowing for more comics per week. The story is our first multiple issue story arc this being The Black Skull Trilogy. In this first part we find out that the BHlack Skull and the Toxic Skull are brothers and they have a rivalry between them that can only end when one of them rules the world . . . with an undead army. The Black Skull chooses a skeleton army as his undead of choice and sends them out into Strange City. Our heroes get into a big fight with a load of skeletons and the Antelope shows his speed by taking out 100 in just thirty seconds. The Black Skull reveals his secret weapon to be Blue Lantronite a rock type substance that has a type of radioactive poison that quickly takes over the Golden Cape possibly killing him.
This issue marks the first appearance of The Black Skull, Skeleton Army, Blue Lantronite with appearances of The Golden Cape, Stickboy Jr., The Toxic Skull, The Antelope, Kittie Kitty and U.F.O.
Issue #12: Black And Blue
Epsode 12 of Strange City Heroes the webcomic is the first issue that will become a complete print issue. All updates are full pages. In this 2nd part of The Black Skull Trilogy we meet Blastpoint & Elophantrix and Blastpoint is mistaken for a villain by Kittie Kitty untill she see’s an old aquaintence Elophantrix. The Antelope brings in Doctor Genius to try to cure the Blue Lantornite poisoning while the Golden Cape battles The Black Skull at his hideout. The team gatheres together and fights off the skeleton army in attempts to get to The Golden Cape. While all of this is going on The Toxic Skull has created a new zombie formula and is headed to a graveyard to unleash more terror on Strange City but is intercepted by Ultimate Flame-O and a fight ensues leading to a boom of an ending.
This issue marks the first appearance of Blastpoint, Elophantrix, Doctor Genius with appearances of The Golden Cape, Stickboy Jr., The Toxic Skull, The Black Skull, Skeleton Army, The Antelope, Kittie Kitty and U.F.O.
Issue #13: Blackest Death
Issue thirteen is the last issue of Volume 1 of Strange City Heroes and the ending point of The Black Skull Trilogy. The ending point of the story and Volume 1 came out of personal need and in order to get the comic and webcomic on the same numbering and making all web issues to match all print issues in number of pages (without extras). The title of this last issue is Blackest Death which takes all of our heroes into battle with The Black Skull. Doctor Genius’ formula to heal The Golden Cape works and after an intense and costly battle the Golden Cape and Ultimate Flame-O join together taking a badly beaten Black Skull and his Blue Lantronite deep into space. The Blue Lantronite is destroyed and The Black Skull meets his Blackest Death (or does he?).
